It was there that we were met by our fantastic host for the day, chef extraordinaire Martin.

With trepidation, we entered the kitchen not knowing what to expect. What were we going to cook? How are we going to cook? More importantly do we actually trust Daniel making my lunch for us??

All these questions and more were answered and within the first 5 minutes of walking into the room, music blasting and work benches set up, we realised it was going to be a fun day.

Our fearless leader Martin embarked on teaching cooking virgins how to chop, dice and Julienne. He also filled us in on why single people cry more when cutting onions and showed us the basic fundamentals of using a knife so that you don’t lose a finger!

All in all it was absolutely fantastic. We prepared a beautiful Spanish inspired lunch complete with prawns, rib eye fillet and a mouth watering tiramisu to finish it all off.

A big thank you to the boys at G&H Financial for coming along (apologies again to Robert or Rober as he is now fondly known for once again getting his name tag wrong!), it really was such an awesome and fun day! So fun in fact we think we might go back again!!
